It has become a must attend event on your calendar. A spring freshness to the best of the Caribbean – it is the Annual "A Taste of the Caribbean Easter Breakfast"! It is the right of spring! Come out and enjoy your customary special breakfast dishes from across the Caribbean. Once again ALL persons in the diaspora, KITTITIANS, NEVISIANS, CARIBBEAN people and AMERICANS are invited to attend this occasion, hosted by the Members and friends of the Sandy Point Benevolent Society (SPBS) based in the New York area.
SPBS is an association of past students who attended the Sandy Point High School now the Charles E. Mills Secondary School. It comprises of past students from Half Way Tree, Sandy Point, Fig Tree, Newton Ground, St Paul’s and Dieppe Bay.
This fund raising breakfast will take place on Saturday April 4, 2015 at a new location: The Church of the Holy Nativity; 3061 Bainbridge Ave., (at Bainbridge and 204th) Bronx, NY. Take either Bus #10, 16, 28, 30, 34 or 38; Or the D train to 205th Street.
The chairperson of the breakfast committee, Mrs. Paulette Mills-Smithen, is promising a finger licking occasion you would not soon forget. Come and sample the usual dishes of conkie, salt fish, egg-plant, bull foot soup to name a few and some new dishes you have to be present to witness.
Time of the breakfast is from 9am – 1 pm and the Donation is $20. Children 12 years and below pay $10.
Come and win prizes, meet old friends, make new acquaintances and enjoy a morning out of the kitchen.
